A Blue Tree, a bold and inquisitive dolphin and the world’s oceans – these are the inspiration behind part of our new website. The stories to come form the basis of our message to children and adults alike. In each of these stories you will find a gentle undercurrent of concern for our precious Earth.
The grown-ups part in the exploitation of our world is not ignored but is simplified and conveyed in subtle messages. People are what they are, but our children will hopefully take the opportunity to be more compassionate.
Blue Tree is an anomaly that stretches the imagination; as an ocean is a thousand shades of blue, so this tree can be any of those colours as its adventures unfold.
Our children have the ability to look clearly, without skepticism and devoid of prejudice. They can take the moral message of responsibility at face value.
Children offer acceptance without guilt or judgement, yet we hope these tales of Blue Tree and his friends will stay with their readers, to remind them that even small gestures count, and can form the basis of future understanding
